​PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY:

Payment for each activity is expected in full at time of registration. All completed and signed waivers must be received by Nature Girl Expeditions prior to the start of each activity. Failure to do so could result in cancellation of your activity with a 25% fee deducted from your refund for processing.

​

Nature Girl Expeditions reserves the right to make changes to our current scheduled activities when necessary. Every effort will be made to inform you of these changes in a timely manner. As well, we reserve the right to change the itinerary in bad weather, and emergency situations. If this should occur, you can accept the change, request a partial refund for the portion of the activity affected, or be credited for a future activity.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We require cancellation notice of at least 48 hours before the start of the scheduled activity if you are no longer able to attend. A refund, less a 10% processing fee will be returned to you.

​

Nature Girl Expeditions is not able to refund an activity fee if you fail to attend a registered activity or cancel after 48 hours of the start of the scheduled activity. A credit for a future activity or event will not be granted.

​

Cancellations by Nature Girl Expeditions can happen up to 7 days before the date of the scheduled activity. You can transfer your booking to a future activity or request a full refund. Occurrences beyond our control such as natural disasters, political instability, terrorism, pandemics, or other external events can make it unsafe to proceed with scheduled activities. If this occurs, Nature Girl Expeditions will provide a full refund.

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK:

​

I acknowledge that I will be engaging in physical activities that may involve inherent risks resulting in pain, bodily injury, damages, loss, and death. I hereby state that I will be voluntarily participating in these activities and hereby assume all risks and expenses of injury and loss which might result from these activities.

​

I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, release and hold harmless the activity guide(s) and its respective servants, agents, members, directors, officers, employers, or employees from any claims, demands, damages, actions, charges, costs, expenses or causes of action arising out of or in consequence of any loss, injury or damage to my person or property incurred while participating in Nature Girl Expeditions activities at any time or place, without limiting the generality of the forgoing, specifically, while attending at or participating in expeditions, retreats, tours, lessons, instructions, or other activities, notwithstanding any such loss, injury, or damages may have arisen by reason of negligence or gross negligence of the activity guide(s), its servants, agents, members, directors, officers, employers, or employees.

I release Nature Girl Expeditions and its respective servants, agents, members, directors, officers, employers, or employees from and against all actions, claims, charges, costs, expenses, losses, damages, and other liabilities arising our of our otherwise connection with any willful, unlawful or negligent conduct from myself while participating in an activity with Nature Girl Expeditions.

I understand that Nature Girl Expeditions and its guides are not responsible for natural events that may cause harm, discomfort during or post activity, including the potential of adverse weather, challenging trail conditions, acquired illness, poison ivy, insect stings or bites, animal or plant defenses, changing or elevated water levels, and behaviours of other persons and animals. I agree that Nature Girl Expeditions is not responsible for any natural events that may occur beyond human control.

If I decide for any reason to leave the supervision of my guide(s) or decide not to participate in a supervised activity with Nature Girl Expeditions, then I accept that I do so at my own risk and I am fully responsible and liable for any illness, injury, or loss to myself or those accompanying me once I leave the supervision of my guide(s).

HEALTH:

​

I confirm that at the time of registering for any activity with Nature Girl Expeditions, I have good general health and I have an appropriate level of fitness and well being for the activities I registered to participate in with Nature Girl Expeditions.

​

I have disclosed to Nature Girl Expeditions all medical conditions, medications, allergies, and/or injuries that may affect my ability to participate in activities with Nature Girl Expeditions.

I know of no medical or other reason (other than those disclosed my myself) why I cannot participate in active exercise with Nature Girl Expeditions.

GENERAL:

​

It is your responsibility to have your own transportation to and from the activity. Nature Girl Expeditions is not responsible for providing transportation or arranging ride sharing to participants unless it is outlined in the scheduled activity.

​

I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for my equipment and all personal property during activities, events, and trips and than Nature Girl Expeditions is not responsible in any way for such property whether it is lost, stolen, or damaged.

​

If I use, consume, or under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs prior to or while engaging in physical activities, I assume and accept all risks, dangers, and hazards that may result from this including the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage and loss even in the event of negligence or fault by Nature Girl Expeditions from any resulting from my participation in the event or tour activities, while, during, or after consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs.

On occasion, we partner with third parties when planning our activities. We are not responsible for the acts and omissions by these parties.

​

Pets are not permitted on activities.

​

To ensure the safety, health, and enjoyment of all participants smoking, vaping, and marijuana use is not permitted on activities.

​

It is expected that all participants cooperate with their guide(s) decisions and treat everyone with respect and without harassment or discrimination. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the immediate cancellation of your activity without refund.

​

By registering for Nature Girl Expeditions events, activities, and/or trips, I agree that the terms of this agreement shall serve as a complete release and express assumption of risk for myself, my heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives; it being my intention to fully assume all risks associated with this event, activity or trip and to release Releasees from any and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

PRIVACY POLICY:

​

We periodically send email notifications about news and upcoming activities at Nature Girl Expeditions.  You will not receive email notifications unless you have subscribed to our news letter.

​

We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties.  Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the services you request. 

 

I understand that during the event, activity or trip, I may be photographed, video recorded and/or my words may be recorded for marketing on websites and/or social media, in brochures or other writings, and any legitimate marketing purposes.
